As expected, a very strong Newquay team were more than comfortable winners in a one-sided game, although Grampound did not give up.  A couple of late Grampound goals, although welcome, were not much consolation in a very tough game. Grampound's first saw Alex Makepeace find space and finish neatly and soon after Ben Taylor added to Grampound's tally with a well-taken lob over an advanced goalkeeper.
