Grampound were not expected to come away with any points in this match and so it proved but the team put up a gallant defensive display for 50 minutes before Grampound's makeshift team ran out of legs against a very good veterans team.
The first goal was conceded just minutes before the break after what appeared to be a clear handball that was not spotted by the referee.  After the break it did not take long to put the score out of sight but the team battled on without really stretching the visiting defenders.
